As the leading home-based care provider and community immunizer, VNA puts the well-being and health of our community first and foremost.  Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory illness that can spread from person to person.

We are closely working with Monterey County Health Department**; and following the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention***.  For more information on COVID-19 and California’s response visit theCalifornia Department of Public Health’s website.

Ways to Protect yourself from Coronavirus

  1. Wash your hands often
  2. Avoid touching your face
  3. Cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze
  4. Avoid contact with people who are sick
  5. Clean and disinfect
  6. Stay home when you’re sick
  7. Maintain your healthy habits
  8. Follow CDC’s travel guidelines

VNA’s top priority is the health and well-being of all, and we are acting with an abundance of caution.  The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. The virus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person between people who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet).
